Jobber, a leading provider of home services management software, announced today the move of its Toronto and
Edmonton headquarters into larger spaces to accommodate the growth of its workforce. The influx in hires, spanning
across all departments, allows Jobber to further reach and serve its global customers and to enhance its platform
with new and intuitive features. The award-winning SaaS platform enables home service businesses, such as
landscapers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters, cleaners, and more, to simplify daily operations,
impress customers, and grow their businesses.
"The company has experienced over 300 percent growth in revenue over the last two years, and is now powering over
$6 billion annually, and growing, in service delivery for our customers," explains Sam Pillar, CEO and co-founder
of Jobber. "We are aggressively building out our team of elite talent to support our growing customer base, as
well as continuing to expand our platform to better serve small home service businesses all over the world. At
Jobber, we're focused on helping people in small businesses be successful. Putting our customers first is a
winning recipe that we are fully committed to as we continue to build the leading product in this fast-growing
market."
As a result of its accelerated growth, the company now employs 185 full-time people, having added 80 new employees
over the last year alone. Jobber's Edmonton office, currently with 145 employees, will move from its existing
12,000 sq. ft. space into 30,000 sq. ft., occupying three floors in the 103 Street Centre building in early 2020.
The updated headquarters will be outfitted with a 3,000 sq. ft. patio, which will become the largest private
outdoor workspace in Edmonton. This month, the Toronto-based team of 40 will move into a newly renovated space in
the Entertainment District. The Toronto office was designed with Jobber's expansion in mind allowing the company
to quickly and easily expand its footprint even more in the future.
The company is committed to a company culture focused on employee skill development, career advancement, and
giving back to local communities. Jobber provides competitive salaries, a company sponsored group RRSP offering,
full employer paid benefits, and an internal learning and development program. A dedicated budget is also
allocated for Jobber Cares, an ongoing initiative that supports social causes and charities in Edmonton and
Toronto. Other office perks include high meeting room-to-employee ratios; numerous collaborative spaces; lounges,
games; darts; libraries; quiet rooms; and fully equipped kitchens stocked with healthy items for breakfast, lunch,
and snacks.
